The Sailing Committee has been working hard to coordinate the Club programme for the 2022/23 season. As a volunteer run Club we require your support to fill a DUTY ROSTER to make it happen each Sunday as well as during regattas.
Members are reminded of the need to complete their rostered duties as part of their commitment to membership. With a healthy number of members, this shouldn't be an onerous task if everyone plays their part.
DUTY ROSTER - CLUB RACING
Each sailor aged 15 or over (or parent of each junior sailor <15) will be rostered for Sunday CLUB RACING once either side of Christmas. There are roles for all levels of ability, on the water and ashore. No one is exempt.
The Sunday club racing rosters will be coordinated through the Class Reps. Members can look at the website now to see when their class has been rostered on. Class reps will be in touch to confirm with individuals as each week nears. CLICK HERE
DUTY ROSTER - REGATTAS
In addition, we need each club member aged 15 or over (or parent of each junior sailor) to volunteer to assist with the REGATTAS that the club is hosting this season.
An online form will be set up shortly for members to add their preferred date and role to their preferred regatta(s) - choose as many as you like! CLICK HERE
You are encouraged to be proactive and complete it as soon as possible. For anyone not volunteering for a regatta, they will be allocated to a role.
