Calling all Super Heroes
It might feel like we only just wrapped up the season… but at Wakatere, things never really slow down. Even through winter, the club keeps ticking - and with that comes a steady list of small working‑bee jobs. All totally manageable with a little help.
Sunday 13th September 9:00am – 12:00pm
Did you know that a working bee is really just a social catch‑up in disguise? It’s one of the best ways to meet other club members. Relaxed, chatty, and full of good energy - a great chance to connect while we tidy up the club together.
Got something on your personal fix‑it list? Share it - and let’s get it done together. And yes, bring your favourite tools.
A checklist that never goes amiss:
A good yard broom, bucket, spade, and small hand brush
Any general tools you’re handy with
Kitchen surface cleaner, cloths/sponges for cupboard interiors, and everything needed for a full fridge wipe‑down (inside & out). Time to stocktake those cups n saucers.
Window cleaning kit
Oven & BBQ cleaning gear
Garbage bags
A car + trailer for a tip run
And of course… willing hands
In case you missed it, it's Sunday 13th Sept from 9 am-12 pm at Wakatere.
Head to the club and check the job list when you arrive 🐝
Bring your sailing gear as an informal afternoon sail may be on the cards, weather permitting.
Thanks for your support!
