END OF SEASON WORKING BEE - SUN 17 MAY
Wakatere is still glowing after its epic 100th birthday weekend - but after a huge centenary season, the club could use a little extra TLC. "Many hands make light work", as they say, and it’s always awesome seeing some fresh hands in the mix. It’s social, it’s chatty, it’s low‑key, get amongst it.
We’ve got small jobs inside and out, plus one big one - painting the lockers. Brushes and paint are supplied, and there’s something for every age and skill level.
Bring: Old painting shirt/overalls, any tools you’re handy with, and a couple of eco‑friendly cleaning products. Mostly, bring willing hands.
