Calling all 12–17 year olds! Join Wakatere’s Youth Learn to Sail (LTS) course this January.
Youth LTS is a beginner sailing course and the first step in our WAKA ADVENTURE programme. Sail fast, have fun, and learn together in our 2-person RS Feva dinghies.
You’ll pick up the fundamentals, try helm & crew positions, and enjoy the teamwork that makes sailing awesome - and it’s a fantastic way to enjoy the outdoors and forge new friendships.

TIME: 1pm - 4pm each day
COST: $360 (incl LTS Invitational membership)
BOATS: RS Feva dinghies provided
COACHES: Qualified instructors
COURSE: YNZ Certified Level 1
As a family club with opportunities to learn to sail at all ages, we encourage the 12-17 group to try something new and discover the thrill of the sport in a supportive environment.
