The Wakatere General Committee warmly invites all club members and their families, and partners to join us for our Christmas celebration.

• Black Stick Race & Christmas Party  

• 5pm race briefing

• 6pm race start 

• 1 race, 1 start line, all fleets  

The opening highlight will be the Black Stick Race. This longer race begins just off the Club and heads across the harbour to Rangitoto and back. A navigation stick we call the 'Black Stick' is used as a rounding mark, it's just off the shore from Rangitoto. Juniors may have a shortened course - keep a weather eye out for Salty Santa!

After sailing, join us for a Christmas meal,  generously hosted by the General Committee. This is the final club sailing date for 2025, so bring your crew, your holiday spirit, and let’s celebrate together!
