Opening Day & Centenary Kick-Off โ Sunday 14th September, 11am
As we launch the 2025โ2026 season, we invite every member, volunteer, and friend to be part of the journey toward our 100-year milestone in 2026.
The official opening will begin at 11:00 am sharp on Sunday, the 14th of September.
We are honoured to welcome back Ngahiwi Walker of the Royal New Zealand Navy, a proud Devonport local and passionate advocate for Mฤori culture. Ngahiwi will lead a mihi whakatau to welcome all members and guests. The ceremonial firing of the club cannon will follow, and we have a new flagpole to commission! We invite all members, families, and partners to gather in full force for this milestone occasion.
Following the opening, enjoy a whole-club morning tea alongside our life members and special guests. To contribute, please bring a plate - whether itโs homemade or store-bought, your contribution is appreciated.
Afternoon Races: The first two Season Points races will set the tone for the season. Mark your calendars and come ready to chase some early wins!
Post-Race Sausage Sizzle: After sailing, head ashore for a classic club sausage sizzle - on us. A perfect way to wrap up the day with good company.
