Members, as part of our annual club prizegiving in June, Wakatere awards a number of Prestige Prizes. These are nominated by club members and then put to a guest panel for review and final selection.

We have awards for sailing performance, sportsmanship, and for being helpful - we try to cover everything at Wakatere. If someone has inspired you on or off the water, please submit a nomination and join us in honouring them.

We warmly invite all club members to submit a nomination, choosing as many categories as you can (one or all). Your nomination matters! Don’t rely on others, as a deserving member might be missed, and the panel requires a diverse range of nominations to evaluate.
