With the new season almost upon us, it's time to welcome some fresh faces to our sailing community.
Our Club calendar is looking jam-packed with exciting events, from club racing on Sundays to Social Sailing on Thursdays plus a sprinkling of regattas. And, if you're a budding sailor or looking to brush up on your skills, our junior & youth coaching is ready to set sail all week long.
We are thrilled to have head coach Gauthier Thomas and coaching coordinator Helena Sanderson join us this season. They will be an awesome duo.
With an impressive group of national and world-class sailors in our midst (including three 2024 Olympians), Wakatere also provides opportunities for anyone keen on taking the first step to Learn to Sail - from age 8 to infinity.
So, whether you're a seasoned sailor or a newbie, join us!

Membership is required for club racing & coaching and if you're itching to hit the regatta circuit, you must be a member of a YNZ-affiliated club like Wakatere to enter.
