We have a remaining 10 competitors from overseas still looking to charter an Optimist for the Nationals at Wakatere this Easter (as of 1st March). They are good sailors looking for good boats.  

Due to local supply issues and the high number of enquiries, we are continuing to call out for unused privately owned Optis of a decent standard to register with us.

DO YOU HAVE AN OPTI AVAILABLE?

If you have a race-ready boat that you are not using, and are happy to hire it out, we would love to get it on the water and provide an opportunity for travelling sailors to compete. Most sailors are prepared to travel with their own sails and foils if required.  

Please note that Wakatere Boating Club will assist in bringing people + boats together, but will not be responsible for insurance, charter fees, equipment damage and logistics.
