Announcing a new course for adventurous teenagers this October - 

Youth Learn to Sail for 12-17 yr olds

Wakatere Boating Club's ADVENTURE program is designed for teens/youths aged 12-17yrs to learn to sail while having fun, and making friends.

This course is for beginners and is sailed in our club 2-person RS Feva dinghies which are lots of fun. Sailors will learn the fundamentals of sailing the Feva, how to control the boat from helm & crew positions. and enjoy the social aspect of sailing at this age. 

• DATE: Mon 2nd - Fri 6th Oct 2023

• TIME: 1-4pm each day

• COST: $400 (incl LTS Invitational membership) 

• BOATS: RS Feva dinghies provided  

• COACHES: Qualified instructors 

• COURSE: YNZ Certified Level 1 

As a family club with opportunities to learn to sail at all ages, we encourage the 12-17 group to try something new.
