As the host club, now is the time for Wakatere to start working towards the 2023 NZ OPTIMIST NATIONALS.  We want to offer a superb regatta experience or all sailors and visitors which will take some planning.     

This is going to be a whole club effort. 

To kick things off we are holding a brain storming session Sunday afternoon 12th June for anyone wanting to be part of such a cool event. Ideas welcome and every opportunity/role imaginable is wide open. Whatever your background, please come!
