Sailing is an awesome way to get outside, have fun, make new friends and make the most of the summer months. Learn the basics of how the wind works, parts of the boat, and how to set up and control their boat while working as a team. Lots of new skills to learn!

At Wakatere, we take safety seriously.
While sailing is a non-contact sport, we will be following the Covid-19 Protection Framework recommendations for Auckland around numbers gathering and social distancing to ensure participants safety and comfort.
Your coach will provide further instruction when you are at the club.
Vaccination is not required at Wakatere for the Waka Confidence age group (8yrs - 11yrs).
Coaches at Wakatere are vaccinated.
