After much consideration the Wakatere Sunburst Group have decided to defer 2022 Nationals from January, to May 7th, 8th, 9th 2022.
Covid in Auckland and the different alert levels have made it incredibly difficult to plan a January regatta with any certainty. The difficulty in getting a clear idea about the borders has compounded the problem.
We are excited about the May date for the Nationals where life hopefully might be a little more ‘the new normal’, and although a little cooler than January, it will still offer some great Autumn sailing.
