Wakatere's Junior Learn to Sail Courses are for those who are interested in getting out on the water in a new way! Sailing is a great way to get outside, have fun, make new friends while learning some skills for life

We teach a foundation for sailing that will hopefully turn into the basis of a love for the sport, regardless of whether or not kids are competitive or happy to adventure.

Each course will run over 4 consecutive days in the April School Holidays 2020. Club Optimist boats are provided or you can sail your own Opti if you have one. All sailors must be at least 8 years of age for the Wakatere course.

We try to inspire the love of the sport early on, so sign a sailor up!
