Wakatere Boating Club will cease all operations following the NZ Government announcement that we move towards Alert Level 4 in response to COVID-19.

There will be no coaching or organised sailing activity at the club until further notice and the club facilities will remain closed. Please respect the rules on self-isolation the Government has put in place and do not congregate at the club for any reason.

YNZ advice is to NOT GO SAILING and the Coastguard have also asked for everyone to stay off the water to avoid the risk of their volunteers being asked to leave self isolation and put themselves at risk.
