Wakatere L2 Operational Rules (May 2020)

Wakatere BC Operational Rules for Members during Covid-19 Level 2
While we are all relieved to be able to return to sailing from Thursday 14th May 2020, the Club has rules for all club members and visitors to follow.

It has been decided that no organized sailing will take place at Wakatere until next spring, as per our usual schedule, and that each class will organise its own sailing agenda and coaching to minimise the numbers at the Club at one time. The Club will effectively remain closed but some coaching and sailing will be taking place. Club members should expect to hear from your various class reps or Lydia our head coach.

We ask that ALL members comply with the Wakatere Operational Rules during Covid-19 Level 2 with particular attention to social distancing, hygiene and please DO NOT come to the Club if you feel unwell for any reason.

It is compulsory for the Club to follow the Covid-19 Contact Tracing requirements. Please read and follow the instructions on the Contract Tracing signs posted at the Club.

Water restrictions for Auckland come into effect on Sat 16th May and are incorporated in our Operating Rules for L2. Refer Watercare.co.nz

An overview of the Rules and Instructions for Contact Tracing can be found below and we'll be adding signs at the Club in time for Thursday to remind everyone of their responsibility.
