As we continue to celebrate 100 years of Wakatere in 2026, we’re more energised than ever to welcome new sailors to a club built on friendship, life skills, resilience, competition, and adventure. Whether you’re a seasoned racer or just starting out, you’ll find your place.
Every season, newcomers join our nationally and internationally recognised sailors, learning, improving, and sharing the same stretch of water. With strong class leadership, pathways to upskill, support for club racing, and Learn to Sail programmes for all ages, there’s never been a better time to get involved in a sport that brings people together from all walks of life.
Opening Day is Sunday 20 September - it’ll be here before you know it.
