The NZ Government announced that Auckland move to Covid-19 Alert Level 3 Step 1 from 11:59 pm Tuesday 5th Oct 2021. This means we are still at Level 3 with some easing of restrictions which allow for sailing within limits.

At Wakatere:
- The clubhouse will remain closed
- The changing room will remain closed
- Patrol boats and the tractor will be unavailable
- Formal racing will not be allowed
If you choose to co-ordinate the time you go sailing with another person, or there are other people at the club, please:
- Maintain social distancing - from everyone
- Scan the Govt QR Code at the club on arrival
- Wear a mask
- Sanitise on arrival and after touching shared surfaces
Use common sense to make it as easy as possible for everyone to maintain social distancing i.e. move your boat to somewhere where there is some space. This might be in the compound; on the roadway; the grass or the beach
We will continually review our approach in line with updated guidelines from Government/MOH and advise members accordingly.
