Patrol Boat Safety Course #1

The Patrol Boat Safety Course is essential for those who wish to learn how to control a small RIB, carry out rescues safely, and be a capable support boat skipper at Wakatere.
The course will be run at the club by a qualified instructor, Phil Bishop, from the Auckland Sailing School. The course will include both theory and practical instruction.
The cost of the course is subsidized by Wakatere leaving a $30 fee for official certification payable by each student on the day. Certification is now compulsory.
It is open to club members (over 16yrs) and parents of junior club members.

You will need warm clothing or wetsuit and footwear suitable for boating, towel and a change of clothing. Please bring your personal lifejacket if you have one. Otherwise a lifejacket will be provided. Please bring your own lunch.
