Wakatere is looking forward to hosting the OK Dinghy World Championship in 2019. We have a strong OK Dinghy club membership, the biggest in NZ and we expect Auckland will be the place to be next February.

The Wakatere Masonic Cup is one of our most popular race days. Over the last few years it has evolved into a team event with 5 teams from a mix of Junior and Senior classes. Due to the Volvo race start this Sunday, Wakatere afternoon club racing has been moved forward to Saturday 17th March. Sunday Morning Coaching will go ahead as normal on Sunday 18th March. The only change is for afternoon club racing.

All class entries will be evenly distributed amongst five teams for the annual Club Masonic Cup this Sunday 11th March. A Wakatere classic as we venture around North Head to the inner harbour. Club members must sign on by 12 so teams can be allocated.
