Zephyrs on Lake Taupo

Well done Grant Beck - 1st Zephyr North Island Champs held at Lake Taupo Yacht Club 18-19 Nov 2017. Greg Salthouse in 8th. Go Wakatere!  

The North Islands was run in conjunction with the annual Wooden Boat Regatta.

Racing was abandoned on Day 1 due to too much wind from the SE, but concluded after a number of quick races on Day 2 in overcast, trying to rain type conditions with a fluctuating breeze.
