The club season has officially finished but after a little break we are up and ready to go again. So if you are already missing sailing… don't worry - there's plenty to keep you busy over the winter!
Sausage Sundays is our winter fun programme on Sunday afternoons 1-3pm. All sessions will be fun and relaxed and will only take place if the weather is kind (so no sailing if the wind is howling and the rain is freezing!).
Winter sessions at Wakatere are open to club members in the following classes: Opti Open, Opti Green, Open BIC, Starling, Feva.
Some short fun racing for extra practice. There will likely be a few starts/groups and we will sort this on the day depending on bookings and who turns up. Anna will run the racing but parents will be needed to provide extra support. Parents are required to run the BBQ for sausages after sailing and help their sailors launch and retrieve.
1pm - 3pm. Be rigged and ready to sail by 1pmCost
$100 no matter which class
This fee will cover the cost of coaching, using the patrol boats and the sausages. If you wish to attend you must sign up - even if you are only coming to one session.
Bookings are only open to club members. A personal login is required to proceed with a booking.
As the training is weather dependent, it's important for you to make a booking and then check your emails on the morning of training (i.e. the email address you book with).
If you have any questions about any of the winter events don't hesitate to contact Juliette Richards - firstname.lastname@example.org
