Boat storage is always in high demand, please work with us to ensure a fair use of this prime facility.
Boat storage is for current financial Wakatere Club Members who are actively competing in Club racing or Club coaching programmes.
All storage is allocated for a season (Sept-Sept) and is monitored to ensure boats are actively sailing.
Lockers are for the main boat classes sailed at the Club.
One space per sailor is the maximum allocation.
Compound storage (storage on the grass) is by allocation and must be approved by our Locker Manager.
Compound storage numbers are restricted so that all Club members can access their lockers; patrol boats & the tractor have room to manoeuvre safely; we retain sufficient area for rigging.
Boats may not be left in the compound at any time without official approval from the Boat Storage Manager. No other club member can give this approval.
Boats will be removed outside the club compound if storage has not been authorized.
The Boat Storage Manager and the Wakatere BC General Committee reserve the right to allocate all lockers. Swaps, subleases or structural changes cannot be made by locker holders.
Refer to our Locker Terms and Conditions Agreement document at the bottom of this page.

BOAT STORAGE MANAGER
Phil Coveny is our volunteer Boat Storage/Locker Manager and he holds a waiting list for all storage at Wakatere. New members should contact him directly. Existing boat storage holders should contact him for new season requests and any changes to their tenancy during the season.
