CLUB INSTRUCTOR COURSE:
Note from Gary Hill - As our coaching courses increase in popularity, there is a continued need to support our young sailors with good coaches.
From a personal viewpoint, when I joined the club I had a good sailing knowledge and certainly years of experience with children through teaching, however I felt it important to gain a formally recognised qualification to coach sailing for the following reasons; measuring and managing safety issues, association with a national sporting body, professional and personal growth.
If you are committed to supporting our junior coaching programme the club is happy to fully subsidize anyone who would like to do this instructors course. I encourage you to take up this opportunity and am happy to talk to anyone on the phone if you want to ask further questions or register your interest with me. Gary Hill 446 3480.
